How to Draw Doors Using Presets

Steps

Open the BuildNow plugin and navigate to the Entity Creation section in the ribbon.

Search and select Doors Entity:
- In the create entity catalogue, search for and select the Door entity.
- Click the "+" button to open the door Presets.

Create Door - Using Pre-defined presets:
- A list of common door presets are provided in the pre-defined presets.
- Select polyline or rectangle against a preset and draw the door polyline.

Create Door - Using User defined presets:
- You can create user defined door presets that can be reused across the drawing.
- Add the door name, door height and assign door type. Then click on the "Add" button.
- A new custom door preset gets created and appears under the user defined presets.
- Select a rectangle or polyline against a preset and draw the door polyline.
- Once the entity is created, a name label will automatically appear at its center.
Checkpoints
- Ensure the door polyline corner points and midpoints overlap with Room, BUA, Balcony, and Passage polylines.
Drawing Conventions
- Doors connecting two different entities should be drawn such that the segments on the door polylines exactly coincide with the polylines of the entities being connected by the door.
- Doors must be drawn for different entities like
__BN_Room
,__BN_Balcony
,__BN_Staircase
,__BN_Lift
etc. - Optionally, doors can also be drawn for:
- a. Structures on the terrace floor plan like
__BN_LiftMachineRoom
,__BN_StaircaseCabin

__BN_Accessory
that are constructed as rooms like Generator Room, Meter Room etc.
